Tendencia: La polémica serie documental de Chelsea Handler




Chelsea Handler regresa a la escena pública con una nueva serie documental de cuatro partes, siguen su característico tono polémico y realizando las preguntas que muchos se hacen pero por tabú nunca preguntan, cargadas claro con con su irónico sentido del humor. 


El documental estará disponible desde éste 23 de enero exclusivamente en Netflix, titulado "Chelsea Does... Drugs"

El actor  Danny DeVito y la súper famosa Khloé Kardashian jugaron "Charadas" versus Norman Reedus y Jimmy Fallon, en el Late Show de Fallon. Ésta fue la primera vez que Kardashian ha participado en éste divertido juego de mímicas.

‘Las crónicas de Narnia’ se prepara para el reinicio

Desde 2013 no teníamos noticias de La silla de plata, la supuesta cuarta entrega de la franquicia cinematográfica de Las crónicas de Narnia que, entonces, el productor Mark Gordon aseguraba que seguiría adelante pese a los tibios resultados de la accidentada adaptación de la saga literaria de C. S. Lewis al cine. Los regulares resultados en taquilla de las dos primeras películas –El león, la bruja y el armario (2005) y El príncipe Caspian (2008)– llevaron a que Disney abandonara el barco; la más humilde tercera entrega, La travesía del viajero del alba (2010), con 2oth Century Fox a su suerte, tampoco hizo nada por mejorar la reputación de una saga a rebufo de los éxitos de El señor de los anillos y Harry Potter.

¿Hasta ahora? En nuevas declaraciones de Gordon, el veterano productor no se da por vencido. De hecho, según se desprende de sus palabras, parece que ha decidido pulsar el botón de reinicio. “Esperamos hacer la película [La silla de plata] dentro de muy poco tiempo”, ha dicho a Collider. “Estamos muy entusiasmados. Va a ser una franquicia completamente nueva. Toda original. Con personajes originales, directores diferentes y un equipo técnico nuevo”.

Lo que no sabemos es qué estudio querrá hacerse cargo del proyecto en estos momentos. La posibilidad de empezar de cero podría resultar golosa en un ecosistema libre de saga de fantasía dominante (por el momento, ya que el spin-off de, precisamente Harry Potter, llegará este mismo año). Y la oportunidad de dar un lavado de cara a Las crónicas de Narnia utilizando como base La silla de plata parece la más adecuada, dado que Eustace, interpretado con anterioridad por Will Poulter, es el único personaje que podría presentar problemas de recasting. Esperemos que las próximas noticias no tarden esta vez más de dos años en llegar

Tendencia: ¡Nominados a los Oscars!




Las nominaciones a versión número 88 de los premios Oscar se dieron a conocer este jueves. La presidente de la Academia Cheryl Boone Isaacs, el director Guillermo del Toro y los actores John Krasinski y Ang Lee anunciaron a los candidatos en las 24 categorías en un evento desde el Teatro de la Academia Samuel Goldwyn Theater en Beverly Hills, Los Ángeles.

Con las nominaciones, comienza la cuenta regresiva para la gala más esperada en la industria del cine. Los premios Oscar serán entregados el domingo 28 de febrero de 2016.
